HighCohesion provided clean & reliable order handling for Wild Nutrition’s high-volume subscription business.
1,000s subscription orders processed daily
4 mins order processing slashed from 4 hours
100% elimination of integration errors
The Snag
Thousands of daily orders and a system that couldn't keep up
Wild Nutrition became an almost instant hit, with hordes of health-conscious subscribers signing up daily. But the brand’s integration setup was unable to handle the high volume.
Each morning, thousands of subscription orders were being processed by Recharge, flowing through Shopify and then into Wild Nutrition’s ERP and WMS. But this integration setup couldn’t handle the load efficiently.
The process took up to four hours, which meant that a portion of the day’s orders were regularly at risk of missing next-day delivery cut-offs, and impacting customer satisfaction.
Orders containing complex product types like bundles and gift cards frequently triggered integration errors. These required manual syncing, creating a major time sink for both Customer Service and Operations teams, leading to growing inefficiencies as order volumes scaled.
The Project
Stabilising operations and eliminating recurring errors
To stabilise and scale Wild Nutrition’s operations, we first connected their Shopify storefront to the Priority ERP system to handle the high volume of daily subscription orders.
We collaborated closely with ERPiQ, Wild Nutrition’s ERP partner, to understand the core business processes, align on data mapping, and perform load testing. This partnership ensured that the solution delivered a step-change in performance, not just an incremental fix.
Working alongside Wild Nutrition’s ecommerce team, we also established a standardised structure for bundles, which is crucial for a product catalogue like Wild Nutrition’s, which is heavily reliant on bundled SKUs. This eliminated recurring integration errors and improved order reliability with real-time inventory syncing between the front-end and back-office systems.
We also integrated completed refunds from Shopify into the ERP, giving Wild Nutrition new levels of financial accuracy and visibility across the returns workflow.

Resolved recurring integration issues tied to complex product types such as bundles and gift cards, allowing for clean data handoff across systems and more accurate order handling.
Laid the groundwork for future growth with a flexible integration framework, making it easier to onboard new platforms, product types, or fulfilment workflows down the line.
Enabled a clean, controlled transition from the legacy system to the HighCohesion platform, avoiding downtime and minimising disruption for internal teams.
The Feedback
In their own words
“The time before we had HighCohesion in place to integrate Shopify with our ERP is derisively remembered as “the dark ages” at Wild Nutrition!
Days when orders wouldn’t load, shipments were delayed getting out the door, and big, business-disrupting issues pulled in people from all across our business — those are now behind us. I don’t worry about them anymore.
HighCohesion has restored confidence for us. We now know that a fundamental part of the infrastructure of our business is rock solid and well looked after.
We’re shipping more orders than ever before, and they’re actually loading into our ERP and WMS faster than they did with the previous solution — and that was at lower volumes. This gives us the confidence that HighCohesion will scale with us, and we won’t need to go searching for the next solution.
I was wowed from the start dealing with the HighCohesion team. The project management structure and thoroughness was game changing, and has lead to tweaks and improvements in our own project management internally!
HighCohesion is firmly in my pocket as my go-to integration agency. I’d turn to them first for any future projects like this.”
